the important thing was that sam was looking for the lobster back to kill with his gun and the other was that this dad was beat in to death just to get sam out of trouble but sam kept getting into trouble and after sam stopped getting into troulbe sam farther had died because of getting beat in up by the soldiers but than one of the soldier shot him.

When I was reading my book I kept thinking about how life was back then because this story takes place in a very long time ago in a village during the civil war.And I wounder how they keep them selves busy during thous times. another thing I wounder about is what would happen to the people if they maneged to create technology to do there every day jobs and needs.

And my meting went well and there were problems except Ramon not reaching his goal but every thing went a OK.

the important thing of the story is that a butcher named EDWARD JONES from ridge field who was caught spying for British another man for stealing shoes and desertion a man gave Tim a letter and Tim past a forest and soldiers started to kill the forest and Tim had to find another way to get to the place he is going to February 13 colonel read came up from the encampment with the word that general Putnam had refused our plea for clemency

What i toughed was important about the book was that when they heard that there father was dead even Sam was sad that his father was dead.For Sam it had been to hard for him at war they had to take others peoples food so they can just eat or sometimes they hunted for food.After some months Sam got arrested because they said he stole from his towns cattle which he didn't.Tom went to go see Sam one day when he heard that they were going to kill Sam by shooting at him.first they killed the other guys by Chopin off their heads.At the end they killed Sam by shooting him while he was on the floor even doe he didn't give up they shot him ones more and he died.



Our discussion went well we talked about what had happened to Tim's father when he died they buried him on a far away island.We made our goal and it was to finish the whole book before we meet again.Our discussion wennt really well

The important thing of the story is that they arrested Sam because he went to catch the cattle thief . Sam ,Tim and his mom were talking because Sam return from the war and they were just talking like a normal day when Sam heard something on the barn like if they were stealing cattle they went to check and they found out that some one stole 4 cattle. Sam said to Tim to stay in cavern that he was going to get back the cattle. Tim didn't do what Sam told him to do instead he went with Sam to get the cattle. Tim lost Sam but then found him again but Sam was being accused to steal his own cattle so Sam was arrested because they could not steal cattle. Tim found the cattle and 1 was already butchered and Tim also went to tell his mother what happened.

My book club discussion went well because everyone talked and shared what they read and what they wrote.What went well is that everyone said what was their favorite part of all.In the book club their was not a problem everyone wrote their notes and shared .The only thing I would change is to make a higher goal.

1. I like the part when Tim had lost site of his father . He tried to look for him by turning he's head left and right searching for him then he thinks his father's got caught by cow-boy's.

1. While reading chapter 9. I wondered If they murdered Tims father or he got away? Because Tim wasn't with his father when he got taken away by the cowboys . He was about a mile down the road from his father when that happened.



2. We didn't get a chance to meet because of the Taks.

My favorite part when Timmy was found by the cow boys than Timmy thought it was his father laying on the floor. BUT than Timmy went in side the wagon to hide but than the cow boys came to the wagon so they found Timmy.So than the cow boys told Timmy if he had any food for them but Timmy gave them the food and the wine so than Timmy got out of the wagon went home running wen he got there Timmy mom asked him were was father than he told him that he left Timmy by him self to go look if there was places straight ahead.So Timmy went in the house to eat some thing than drank half the wine of bottle and stay at home.




Me and my grupe talk about the book than we all like the chapter we read my favorite part when Timmy stay at the wagon when the cow boys came than ran home to stay at so than we we all like the chapter so now we are going to the chapter to see what happens at Timmy

Our discussion went well,we talk about our favorite parts.My favorite part was when Sam stole the brown Bess because he wanted it to go fight in the war,They argued about it but the next day the brown Bess was gone,Sam had taken it to war.We discussed about the part when Tim found his brother sleeping on the floor in front of the chimney and he had the brown Bess next to him.Tim made a run for it with the brown Bess then suddenly he amid at his brother Sam.We really liked this book because of how Tim and his father made the book sound interesting when they got in a fight with the cow boys which are stealer's beat up Tim's dad because he doesn't want to give the cattle to them.The discussion went really well.

the part that i like was when sam took his fater brown bres so he went to war and tim got worried and bety and she told him that sam wasn,t coming home that he went to war to fight

1. What I think was more important was when they almost got robbed on the way to sell their cattle.The cowboys wanted to steal their cattle and they were about to steal them but Tim ran so the cowboy's went to chase him but other people came to help them. The cowboys saw the other people so they left and Tim and his dad did not got robbed .Tim's dad told Tim to do not call them cowboys to call them stealer's because that's what their are.

2. My group discussion went well because when we were talking everyone participated and said what was their favorite part . My favorite part was when they almost got robbed on the way to sell their cattle and that was David's favorite part too. Their were no problem's on my book club discussion everyone did ok on the book talk.I would not change nothing of what were doing for now.

What i tought was important about what i just read was that Tim and his father were attacked by cowboys that wanted to steal their cattle.Tim,s father was trying to protect the cattle but they beat up his father and they left.When they left they hurry,d up to there cousins house.When they go there they cleand up fathers blood and went to go talk with Tim and father.They had to sleep on a ranch in night when it was warm.

My favorite part was when Sam stole the gun called brown Bess from his father, because that was when Sam and Tim acuity got into there first conflict. To me that was just a very thrilling off the seat action because they Dru blood from each other.

1.What did i wonder about while i was reading is that wen i read is that i like the book is that wen Timmy was sad because father was mad at Sam because Sam all ways do some thing bad.

So Timmy wants Sam to live but their father douse not like it wen Sam talks about the Battle so that's why father kick Sam out the house.AND Sam got mad at father so Sam did not had a place to stay so this black guy help Sam to stay at his house.THan Sam went to fight but Timmy was sad that he may not see Sam anymore.So father got mad at Sam for taking the family gun so father went to go find Sam but Timmy wanted to go to so father take Timmy with him but wen they went to go look for Sam two cowboys than they told Timmy and father to kit of the horses so Timmy did but father did not so than they start to hit father on the hand with there guns so than father fell from the hoers.THan Timmy told him to stop but the cowboy look at Timmy than cowboy aim at father with the gun but Timmy told him to stop the Cowboy did not look at Timmy so Timmy went to go look for some help so he found some help than they help father but the cowboys start to run.THan father was OK than him and Timmy still went on but father was bleeding from the head so father did not care so thy went on and on but they stop to eat than they wen on.

1. My favorite part of the book was when the Patriots came to Tims house and forced Eliphalet ( Tims father) to give them the Brown Bess.

The reason I like this part was because it was full of action because the Patriots cut Eliphalet cheek and almost attempted to kill him.

how is my life is different i will tell you.My life is different because in there time they didn't have house they had to make there house out of wood and also they didn't have stores like we did they had to make there stores every small.For real part if i was in there time of war i would felt sad because all my friend would have died and my family i love my family in thing in the world that's why i would not like to be in SAM time. 2Nd it was very cool in book club because we talked about are favorite part that we like about the storey and also we asked each other question about the story and graded each other folder its very fun in book club.

1. Tim's life is way different from mine.First of all I don't have an older brother that wants to go to war with someone.Second my dad didn't get beat up by Patriots!





2. My book club meeting went very well.We listened to our members of the group without any interruptions and asked questions when we didn't understand.Luis Cuchilla (one of my group members) gave us a good idea that when we're writing our notes to write down the page number on what we are writing about.My group got along great and there were no arguments but there were some disagreements.

Me and Tim live the same because We both have to lesson to are parent's. We both have a remodels like he has Sam and I have my dad. and We both have to sleep at night and my life is different from Tim because Tim doesn't have light or any stuff they made now like car's or any technology. If I live in that time I would have gone bored every day nothing to do but do chore's like cleaning the cow's dropping's,panting the fence and getting the egg's the chickens laid every day that my friend would not have been fun and that would have been hard work and I'm not that good when it comes to had work and that would have got me tired easily anytime. My book discussion went pretty good no one was rude and every body had favorite part in the book to talk about. and it was helpful one of them said some thing about the book at first I thought they made it up but I went back to check and fond out that I skipped a part in the book. no the only thing I change is that I would fond out what I skipped. no thoughts for my next discussion for my group.

My life is that i have a brother that is 1 years old he likes ti hit people. And wen we take the things he has he starts to cry or he hits you so thats my life.

Are talk about the book is wen we all start to like this book because the book is about cool thing than we start to talk about it than we all start to laugh but than we all like the book so we all start to read the book.

1. It's the same in one way because Tim well I guess he's my age and he has to help his family around the house you know. And he Doesn't like to brake rules because well first of all he probably doesn't feel comfortable and he doesn't want his father to get mad. The reason he's a little scared of his father is because one time his father slapped Sam ( Tim's older brother) because he was mad at Sam. I don't like braking rules either because I hate feeling the guilt. Tim and I are different because yes he's a boy and another easy way is because he lives in the like 1800s. Another we're both different is that he has an older brother and I don't have one. Then I have also never milked a cow before. Sam and I are alike because I'm the oldest one in my family too. I also disagree with my except not as bad as he does. I also get happy when I see my family after a long trip to a place, like when Sam came home from collage and he had a lot of good news tell them. Also we're not afraid to tell the truth, even if we know bad things will come if we tell. We're different because he is already in collage and I'm in 5th grade. Also I do curse like Sam does. I do not brake rules and take a gun. I'm definitely not going to the war, ever. I don't get drunk with girls nor boys like he does and if I had to wear a uniform for war I would've changed into real clothes by now. I would feel weird I mean no TV, light bulbs, movies, refrigerators, stores, mall manly things we have now. But it might be good to have money with me because I hear things were cheaper back then. I just don't think it would be easy.

2. My group discussion went okay. One of the group members and I want to change books and the other two want to keep on reading. But the one who wants to keep on reading said something clever and said, why don't you read three more chapters and see if you are liking the book, but if not I'm willing to change. I really liked that idea. Our group is just three girls and one boy because there were too many groups that had just boys, but two of the girls in my group and said a lot, but so much the boy. I still have some questoins to ask though. Anyway it didn't really help me because we were all to busy taiking about if we should change the book are not. I would've changed my adtitude because tried to make them change their idea to keep reading. I hope my next discussen is better than before.

In the story the life is different there and a kid name Timmy has bad times one of the bad times is that Timmy has a big brother that get mad at his dad because he does not let him go to war and he went in the morning and with a Brown Bress gun and went to fight at war and that life is defferent because the people there went to war to fight back what theres and Timmy saw Sam with the gun at the back of his shit and Timmy was mad at him and then the next day he went to war and that life is defferent than ares of the past and now war is defferent than today now and now we dont have a lot of farmes he and i well not milk a cow but we dont have much cows now

My life is different from the life of Tim because I would not have joined the patriots because I would have died in war. The 2Nd reason my brother and me don't milk cows and Sam and Tim do milk cows. The family of Tim lives on a farm and my family and me don't live on a farm we live on a apartment so as you can see my life is different from Tim's family.The same about Sam and me his that he liked to learn and I do to and my little brother also thinks I have all the fun and he does not but I tell him that I don't.I like living in my own time time because I don't think I would like milking cows but it would also be interesting to live in a different time.My book club discussion went well because my team members helped me understand what I did not understand. No I would not change nothing. I think my next metting would go good.

If i wolds live in those time i wold be a good life and a bad life at the same time because there would be patriots who would attack homes and other places.The patriots would go to your house and take your guns away so they can take them to war like when Sam stole the brown bess.In that life if you didint listen to the patriots they would hang you and watch you die.In those day"s you had to go too church evry sunday because it was the law.I think this book is intresting because its about war and has an intresting title.

If I was in the time that Tim was living in that would be very strange to me,because I could not imagine waking very very early in the morning going to the barn and making my own milk, because when I wake up I am basically a zombie.I can relate to Tim because I always do allot of work at home, and I always get in trouble with my parents just like when Tim gets in trouble by talking back to his father, and when I disturb.
